Ah…Sibling 7.
This one’s fairly normal as far as our family goes. He’s a computer analyst in a government position in a mid-sized suburban area. He works regular hours, has a couple pets, and no split personalities. So he has a stable job, secure marriage, he is even in the process of buy a house; yep, he’s well-adjusted. That’s why we think this brother most closely resembles his alter-ego:
Russell Brand
Okay, so by most people’s standards Russell is far from average, but in our world…he’s doing pretty well. I mean, think about it. He stayed married to Katy Perry for a decent amount of time (hopefully our brother’s marriage also ends in divorce–the sooner the better, if you ask me). He stuck through the entire process of making a motion picture (several months at one job, a record for most of our siblings), and he now even has his own television show (that means he has to show up on time for work daily!). Yep, that’s stable in our world.
And Russell and Sibling 7 are both completely and unequivocally crazy. That’s right, they’re nuts. Not psycho in the typical “someone should lock me away” sort of way, but deranged in the “nothing you do makes any sense and I can never take you seriously” kind of way.
Now for some valuable parallels:
Russell Brand: Married to a woman who sprayed milk on her boobs to be giant cupcakes (giant being the main word :)).
Sibling 7: Married to a woman who owns a fish and carries it with her everywhere.
Russell Brand: Has crazy long rocker hair.
Sibling 7: Ditto.
Russell Brand: Tries, usually successfully, to make people laugh by putting them in awkward situations and using crude humor.
Sibling 7: Tries, unsuccessfully, to make people laugh by putting them in awkward situations and using unintelligible humor or knock-knock jokes.
Russell Brand: Always looks sorta grimy, in what we’re sure he believes is a stylish rocker look.
Sibling 7: Usually looks sorta grimy, mostly because he wears drab colors. And because he wears weird pants.
They’re basically twins.
